Imprints 1 & 2 Vinyl

This release combines the first two EP's from my 'Imprints' series together for the first time. They are collected together on either side of a Limited Edition 12" vinyl.

Comes in a beautiful gatefold sleeve, featuring artwork by my long-term collaborator and artist Gregory Euclide

The reception for the first volume of ‘Imprints’ has been so wonderful. This series represents an opportunity to strip everything back to the beautifully unadorned and uncluttered sound of the felted solo piano and allow the melodies, the resonance and the closeness of the instrument to come to the fore again. I am always seeking to present my music in its most authentic form, and the ‘Imprints’ series allows me to embrace this aspect of my creative output.

The pieces on ‘Imprints 2’ afforded me the opportunity for gentle experimentation with time signature changes, exploring the full register of the instrument, and continuing my commitment to only play what feels necessary to convey the meaning and nature of the music. I’m pleased both the first and second volumes of ‘Imprints’ will now be available to the many people who have requested a physical copy, and want to say thank you to those people for their patience whilst waiting for 'Imprints 2' to be released, and for the inevitable delays in vinyl production
